Motherwell Heritage Centre runs a wide range of activities and events throughout the year.

Running throughout the school holidays is a programme of activities for children. For a modest charge come along and try out a crafts or traditional games workshop on Wednesdays or Thursdays. On Fridays there are either crafts workshops or children's entertainers and Sunday afternoons sees more 'hands on' creative activities.

The centre will be open from 11am to 4pm for a holiday Monday full of fun activities for the family. Crafts, games and competitions, plus the ever-popular Technopolis Quiz, with prizes! Admission to the centre is free, but there may be a small charge for some activities.

The heritage centre hosts another of its popular local history days, with a wide selection of trade stalls and local groups and societies represented. In the centre's conference room there will be a number of illustrated talks on various aspects of local history.
